Permission to Recharge!!

This is your permission slip to RECHARGE!! That's right...give yourself permission to escape from your every day routine for a moment or two just to be by yourself. If you work in an office, take that lunch time to take a walk, listen to music on your I-Pod, run, exercise or just go to a near by park and listen to the birds sing. If you have a family take this time after the day has wound down...or even in the morning before everything gets started. Find this time anywhere you can...If everyone else is watching TV...slip out of the room and find a quiet spot of your own. By taking this small amount of time for yourself you will begin to recharge your own energy level. You will feel more connected to who you are and what you can accomplish. There is nothing selfish about wanting a little RECHARGE TIME....so go ahead! Plug yourself into YOU!

Successful!

Why is it that when you have a moment of success you often make excuses for it, or you do not share it, for fear of feeling as if you are bragging? Well, here is your permission slip to BE SUCCESSFUL! We all deserve success in whatever it is that we are doing...personal success, professional success. Success comes in all shapes and sizes, it can be the smallest of things, such as just picking up the pencil and writing one line that we have been wanting to write...it can be bigger, like seeing yourself in print, or selling a piece of artwork. No matter what your success is, you have to be aware of it, you have to honor it, and you have to make it yours. By doing this you allow yourself to own it, and the more you do this the more success will come to you. Make yourself a magnet for success! Just by using this permission slip whenever needed!

SPEAK UP!

Every day you hear someone say.."I wish I would of told them..." We tend to believe that people hear the marbles rattling around inside our heads! As if by some magic they know exactly what we are thinking or exactly what we want without us having to say a single word. This permission slip allows you to be heard..To SPEAK UP..TO STAND UP..TO BE HEARD! We often times wait till it is to late to say the things we want and need to say...sometimes it comes out in anger other times it is just a missed opportunity to tell someone how much you care about them. This permission card says you don't have to wait, you can say all the wonderful, or even some of the non-wonderful things that you need to say without anger, without regret. When we speak our truths from our heart people tend to listen and hear us. So go ahead...it is a precious gift that you give yourself to be heard!

Be in the Moment!

We all do it...the "I have to get to" ... "I must finish"..."tomorrow I am going to"..We zoom ahead of ourself...we project ourself into the future without really being aware of it..or we linger to long in the past, that we are not aware of today! So this permission slip allows you to stay in the present! It is a gift that you can give yourself that helps you to enjoy the moment that you are in RIGHT NOW! By being present in the moment you suddenly become aware of the wonderous life you are having right now, and after all it is this day that matters as we will never have it back again. Enjoy today, laugh a little longer, smile a little wider and love a little deeper!

Let it GO!

This is not an easy permission slip, but it is one that most of us need to have in our back pocket, our wallet, or even posted on the fridge! We tend to hold on to things that serve us no purpose, or quite simply drain our energy. So why is that? What is it that makes holding on to them easier than letting them go? Sometimes it is best to cut your strings...even if it something that we hold on to because of age, because of fear, because of sentiment. By letting go of something that weighs you down you will become uplifted...you will feel better, breathe easier..and believe in yourself more. So..give it a try, use this card over and over till you can finally feel that big rock lifted right off you!

See Your Beauty!

Fashion magazines....Ads on television...billboards...media! All shout it at us, all telling us to look perfect..be perfect..perfect hair, perfect teeth, perfect bodies, perfect clothes! One person giving way to look just like someone else! How many times have you avoided the mirror...said "this old thing" when someone gave you a compliment? This permission card gives you the right to see your OWN BEAUTY! We all have a spirit that is uniquely our own. It is not a copy of someone else, it does not wear a certain name brand on it, and it certainly is the most beautiful part of our self. So this permission card says celebrate who you are...YOU! See your inner beauty so that you can appreciate your outer beauty...for it truly shines from the inside out!

Do Something Badly!

So you have seen something in a magazine, or on line, or in a book that you wanted to try to do, or perhaps there is a class that you want to take, but something is STOPPING you right in your tracks. What is that? Is it? Could it be? PERFECTION! Many of us do not attempt things of interest to us because we think that we must be perfect at it the first time out! We do not want to look silly or look like we don't know what we are doing. So we lose out...we don't take the class, we don't learn and grow because of that PERFECTION! Well...here you go! Here is your permission slip to do something badly, (or at least what you consider badly!) Just having the desire to do something new is good! You would not expect a ballerina to be perfect the first time she put on her ballet shoes so why do you expect that from yourself? So what is it that you want to try? Take this permission slip and start the motion...
It's all good!
