Why is it that when you have a moment of success you often make excuses for it, or you do not share it, for fear of feeling as if you are bragging? Well, here is your permission slip to BE SUCCESSFUL! We all deserve success in whatever it is that we are doing...personal success, professional success. Success comes in all shapes and sizes, it can be the smallest of things, such as just picking up the pencil and writing one line that we have been wanting to write...it can be bigger, like seeing yourself in print, or selling a piece of artwork. No matter what your success is, you have to be aware of it, you have to honor it, and you have to make it yours. By doing this you allow yourself to own it, and the more you do this the more success will come to you. Make yourself a magnet for success! Just by using this permission slip whenever needed!

Does this Permission Slip come in billboard size? Sometimes the fear of success can be more painful and debilitating than the fear of failure...strange creatures are we!?!

Your feelings & questionings made me think of Annie Lamott in Bird by Bird...we go up, we go down, we go back up. we have a book accepted for publication and celebrate for 5 minutes before we start worrying about whether or not anyone will buy it. sing your song, Pattie...there's an audience that needs to hear it.
